Hi there Owen. I am a second year vet student and I work with chimpanzees. I see that you went to Ngamba Island. My friend did her PhD research in Uganda for a year and suggested that I check out the Island for some veterinary experience. I have worked with chimpanzees for 5 years and also did an externship this past summer in Florida. I would love to get some advice from you if you don’t mind. I look forward to hearing from you. As a fellow artist, I enjoy your pictures as well.
There was another elk photograph I saw last year where the elk was scratching his ‘nethers’ with his antler tips, somebody put that caption on it, so don’t feel bad, I didn’t think of it either 🙂
Definitely putting them to good use.
Great picture!!! Reminds me of the elk that would roam around my childhood home…
That’s great! Can I put that on my FB page? Hilarious!
Thanks! No problem to share

Hi Debbie,
Small world! I will e-mail you directly about Ngamba and veterinary opportunities there. Cheers,

Great comment…wish I had thought of it myself!
